The „TriStar Salzkammergut“ (111 and 55.5) takes the first time place at lake Attersee in the Salzkammergut, in Upper Austria, one of the most popular and natural places in Austria.
The triathletes can enjoy the unique and marvelous view around lake Attersee. The Salzkammergut offers various lakes with crystal clear water and perfect roads up to a sea-level of 2000 m.
Additionally to the gorgeous landscape of the Salzkammergut, the Attersee is close to big cities like Linz and Salzburg, where family members can go shopping, go sightseeing or enjoy cultural events. Lake Attersee – the perfect venue!
For triathletes of Germany the geographical position in the North of Austria of lake Attersee is an extra plus. German triathletes can 2012 participate also in two other competitions “TriStar Worms-Germany” and “TriStar Berlin”.
