Summer
The Mondseeland Farmers’ Museum was built as an interpretation of a modern agricultural auxiliary building…
...and serves as informative entrée to the Mondsee Smokehouse Outdoor Museum with its buildings and outdoor areas.
The building was first chartered as “Unterer Bischofer” in 1416. The Mondsee log boat, an old boat form that is still used today by some professional fishers, is on display next to the smokehouse, but also in the dock area.
