Aignerhaus

This old “Mittertennen” house (a farm house, where the barn floor is located between the living area and the stables) has been lovingly renovated by the local heritage club and has been accessible since summer 1999.

This farm house and its way of cultivation perfectly blend into the landscape and it gives an insight into everyday life and social life of back then.
The following can be visited: kitchen, parlour, bedroom of the farmers, tools for laundry and for linen making, a small tailor’s and shoemaker’s workshop, and agricultural tools in the barn floor area.
In the stables there was only place for 2-3 big animals.
If there wasn’t space for a granary, it was built extra as a one-room building with one floor only.
