
A 12km-long panorama road leads to Postalm, the biggest pasture plateau of Austria. Once up there, one is in one of the most beautiful pasture areas of the Alps where the young and old can enjoy numerous hikes.

Summit tours
Many rewarding summits offering a fantastic view surround the Postalm high plateau. Some are easy to conquer, for others you need to be sure-footed.
Braunedelkogel Mountain:
Classic summit hike, sure-footedness essential. Views of the entire Postalm area, of the Dachstein massif and the Tennengebirge mountain range.
Wiesler Horn Summit
Easy summit hike offering a fantastic view of Postalm plateau and Wolfgangsee Lake.
“Almblumenweg” Trail:
In the Postalm nature reserve a great number of rare and protected mountain flowers grow. A sign-posted trail leads from lift 1, past Rosserhütte hut to the upper car park and then to Strobler Hütte hut, Welser Hütte hut, Gasthaus Alpenrose, Blonde Hütte hut and back to the starting point.
