Due to its unique characteristics, the Salzkammergut scenery with its thousand year old history is one of the most beautiful regions of Central Europe.

Traces of the Habsburgs are at present throughout the Salzkammergut. Of course you will see the Imperial Villa, where even Emperor Franz Josef and Empress Sisi liked to spend their summer vacations, taste delicious regional specialties or admire the historic paddle steamer “Gisela” on Lake Traunsee in this truly stunning area, where tradition is kept high.

Arrival: daily from April 24th to October 09th, 2010

Condition: You cycle around the magnificent Salzkammergut mountain scenery, mostly through villages from lake to lake – however, regular cycling at home is recommended.

Parking possibility
In St. Wolfgang there is no possibility to park your car free of charge. The public park garage of the township (in the centre) costs approx. EUR 30.00/week. You can park also at car par Nr. 1 (before the tunnel and the centre of St. Wolfgang) where 24 hours cost in autumn EUR 2,50 and in summer EUR 3.00.
Other reasonable parking possibilities are car park Nr. 7 at the cable car station Schafberg and car park Nr. 8 (near the cable car station). Per week price is approx.
EUR 15.00 and for 10 days approx. EUR 20.00 and for each additional day EUR 2.00. It is not possible to book in advance.
