The forest road is convenient for family (suitable for pushchairs) and features some wonderful views of Lake Traun to Traunstein. Who does not like to walk on forest roads branched off from the car park of a popular hiking trail that leads uphill a little steeper and ends in the last part of the forest road.

The Hochsteinalm is on a hill in a valley. The large garden with stunning views of the mountains and the hell Brunnkogel invites you to stop. Specialties from the highlands and a hearty beef and lamb roast and homemade Pofesen are on our menu.
For younger guests there is a playground in sight of the garden and lots of pets.
