Learning how to sail and surf properly for children and youths in the Mondsee Surfing and Sailing School!

• Basic junior sailing license and permit
  Ages 6 to 12
  This course aims at beginners and moderately advanced learners of this age group. The youngest ones learn on so-called “Optimisten” boats, safe boats for beginners.


• IInternational VÖYWS sailing and surfing licence, basic certificate for catamarans
  Ages 12 to 14 years
  Beginners of this age group and moderately advanced children of the previous age group are eligible. Our “New Cat 12” catamarans are used for teaching; these boats are perfect for beginners and advanced children of this age group. These boats are easy to sail and exceptionally steady. Of course the catamarans feature trapeze harnesses so that the kids can enjoy sailing to the full. Taught are especially trapeze sailing, boat and sailing trim and regatta sailing.

Course times:
Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. including one hour of theory; Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. final regatta.

Price per week: EUR 175
Present exam fee for Sailing/Surfing Junior: EUR 10
Present exam fee for Basic Catamaran: EUR 20
On request meals and supervision during lunch time are available for children (EUR 11 per day)

PADI Bubblemaker – Explore the World Underwater with us!

With our PADI Bubblemaker program you can explore the world underwater. In the shallow zones of Lake Attersee or Mondsee you can observe fish shoals in their natural habitat for the first time. An adventure for everyone.
