Woodland climbing park and more in Faistenau

This excursion highlight is ideal for families and is to be found in the woods not far from the centre of Faistenau. Guaranteed fun for all ages.

Waldkletterweg in Faistenau

The climbing park has 50 stations from easy to ambitious, with wood and rope formations through approx. 30 trees.

Not only for teenagers and adults, but also quite suitable for children. Also people with sight or hearing handicaps or balance problems can conquer the course with assistance. Through imaginative challenges, co-ordination, mobility, balance and concentration can be playfully trained. The atmosphere of the mixed woodland is a healthy venue and the inspiration of material and mental handicaps of the parcour are a stimulating experience. The foliage of the
trees is an advantage not only on hot sunny days but on rainy days too. Additional stations such as the beer crate tower add variety to the climbing park. A special programme for daytime groups can be arranged with the experienced Outdoor-Trainer Gerhard Mösenbichler.

Sufficient car parking is available at the Sports Club House in Faistenau and from here there is a path to the woods suitable for prams where the whole family can indulge in the fun of climbing. Small drinks en route are good to tank up on energy or at the end of the adventure to refresh and here is the opportunity to compare notes of the course in a relaxed atmosphere.

Open in July and August daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
In June and September at weekends and upon request. The park is closed when stormy weather.

Entrance fees are EUR 10.00 for adults
Children up to 12 years EUR 8.00; Family and group fees upon request.
