It’s a nice understatement to call it “Beisl” (tavern). This venue is popular and definitely a restaurant.
“The chef, a host like in the old days, recommended the catch of the day: a common whitefish from Lake Attersee. Of course we agreed and while waiting for the fish we enjoyed a tasty beef bouillon with venison liver dumplings. The fish was as tender and tasty as one could hope for,” reports Gault Millau 2010 Guide for Gourmets, Karl Hohenlohe, page 327.
Opening Times: 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Closed on Tuesdays, Wednesdays; Tuesdays only in July and August 2010
