WHO IS JOSEPH? – one is inclined to ask while sitting on the fantastic lake terrace and enjoying culinary delights.

It simply is the grandfather of today’s owner, but also a homage to Emperor Franz Joseph who was a longstanding Salzkammergut fan.

"Joseph's in der Seevilla" at Markt 17 in St. Wolfgang offers the high quality of a toque awarded cuisine combined with creative ideas and regional produce. Guests can choose between two 6-course menus, the separate courses of which can also be combined arbitrarily.

The restaurant presents itself with charming details and conceptually witty rooms. At the bar e.g. top-quality snacks are available at bar tables; the restaurant too features high tables. In recess zones you can enjoy intimacy and tête-a-tête conversations. Joseph’s is not only a first-class restaurant but also features a Vinoteque holding top-class wines from all major wine regions of Austria.

We recommend experienced Salzkammergut gourmets warmly to visit Joseph’s. Those who have tasted the Thai beef salad made from Gosau ox or the Wolfgangsee fish bouillon with ricotta-basil-tortellini and pink lamb chops with a cream of chanterelles and baked potato cubes can only confirm our recommendation.
