HOCHBERGHAUS stands above everyday life and offers a fantastic view that reaches from Almtal valley to the Innviertel district. It is the perfect place for watching one’s own point of view from a different perspective.

Tuck in: Enjoy good plain cooking by our chef Fasi Moser-Nussbaumer and many delights in our homey parlours, next to the open fire or on our terrace offering a fantastic view from Almtal valley to the Innviertel district.

From fancy snacks (snacks for cyclists) to cheap mountaineers’ menus (traditional cheese gnocchi, Tyrolean Gröstl etc.) to international culinary delights.

Our 3,000m²-large adventure playground is a paradise for children.

You can reach us easily by taking our private 6km-long mountain road during summer season – by foot, bike, car or bus.

On your way there you also pass our “Du”-stone (you-stone) that announces 1,000m of altitude, the altitude from which onwards one no longer uses the polite form of address in the mountains. Friendships are made for easily!
