
From April 3rd to 5th internationally renowned musicians will present works by Schumann e.g. at the PKS Villa Rothstein and at the Bad Ischl Trinkhalle events centre.
On June 8, 1810 a son was born to a publisher in the Saxon village of Zwickau. The son was going to become one of the most famous musicians of the Romantic period. Two centuries later the entire world commemorates the ingenious works of Robert Schumann. At the 6th Bad Ischl Chamber Music Festival 2010 it is all about the composer who has his 200 anniversary.
From April 3rd to 5th internationally renowned musicians will present works by Schumann e.g. at the PKS Villa Rothstein and at the Bad Ischl Trinkhalle events centre. The festival’s theme is – in accordance with many works of Schumann – ROMANTICS and features three concerts with the titles of “Love”, “Live” and “Passion”.
The concert on Easter Monday (April 5, 2010) is in cooperation with the Gmunden Brucknerbund association. The “Lunch Concert” offers highlights for the ears and palate at the Bad Ischl Trinkhalle events centre!
