Romantikcourse Fuschl is one of the oldest golf courses of Austria; a historic place the history of which dates back to the 15th century. Then, as now, the place in the Salzburger Land area attracted celebrity golf players. Even Prince Rainer of Monaco, Roger Moore and the American president Richard Nixon are said to have played this course. They all came to enjoy the incomparable panorama of the fairways designed by Bernhard von Limburger and the peaceful, time-honoured atmosphere of this fairytale-like place with its gentle hills and the glistening water of the lake.

The 9-hole golf course and the Driving Range are part of Schloss Fuschl Resort and are located next to Hotel Jagdhof, a country house dating back to the 17th century that was renovated in 1994 and extended in 2002 to an elegant and homey refuge with a top-class wellness area. Thanks to its location on a hill one enjoys a fantastic view of the lake and the grounds.

Hotel Jagdhof is a perfect base for a tour of the golf courses of the Salzkammergut area, as the “Golf Alpin Partner Clubs”, amongst which are the popular 18-hole Mondsee Golf Course and the idyllic Golfclub Drachenwand, are within easy reach. In the intermediate proximity is the Championcourse Eugendorf featuring 18 holes and 72 par. It is a true challenge for pros and an adventure for beginners. A modern golf school makes it a top course of Austria.
