Kinzl (Keanzl) Mill – Au Mill

This route takes you through a flat grassy valley, and is thus ideal if you are looking to relax, and for peace and quiet.

Laufen im Attergau

The starting point is the train station at St. Georgen in Attergau. First, cross the railway tracks to the east of the local station, and pass the warehouse on your way to Ing.-Stern-Gasse. From there, take a trail across the meadows that runs into Eggenberg lane south of Aich village. Follow this lane along the Dürren Ager directly to the Kinzl Mill (a.k.a Ablinger Mill).

North of the Kinzl Mill a 300 m meadow trail takes you into the small mixed woods. At the junction take the center trail and run uphill. After leaving the woods, carry on north in the direction of Engljähring. From there, take the narrow road directly to the Au Mill. Take the direct route back to the Kinzl Mill (not via Engljähring) and finally return to the station.
