Sommersbergsee Lake

The unspoilt area around Sommersbergsee Lake, which is surrounded by the Ausser Mountains, is a perfect area for recreation and resting.

A large sunbathing lawn, comfortable bathing planks, a paddling pool and a volleyball court ensure that the day out will be great fun for the whole family. The lake’s surface covers an area of about 3 hectares.

For a stress-free excursion bus transfers (free if you purchase an entrance ticket for the lake) are offered. They depart at 10:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 3:45 p.m., 4:45 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. from Bad Aussee Kurhausplatz square.

Entrance: EUR 2.00/adults, EUR 1.00/youths

Getting there: exit at B145 in Bad Aussee, near Billa supermarket. Follow Solmmersbergseestraße road for about 2.5km.
