Langbathsee

The closer of the two Langbath Lakes is in the natural preserve at the base of the Höllengebirge Mountain Range, with crystal clear water that you can drink, a stunning mountain backdrop, loop trails, Emperor Franz Josef’s former hunting lodge and a lakeside hotel with a restaurant.

The OUTER LANGBATHSEE (600m long, 400m wide, approx. 23m deep) – is a heavenly nature preserve.

There are a variety of options here for extended hikes, walks on the Brunnkogel ridge, mountain bike tours over the Lueg to the Grossalmstrasse (Big Pasture road), or horseback rides on the new panorama riding trail.
