
Ödensee Lake with a surface of 20 hectares is amongst the smaller lakes of the Salzkammergut area. Still it is a popular bathing lake in summer.
Ödensee Lake is a natural bathing lake in the Salzkammergut area. It is located in the municipality of Pichl-Kainisch in Styria at an altitude of 776m and has a maximum depth of 19m. It is a continental raised bog lake.

The hungry can stop at Kohlröserlhütte hut directly at the lake.
Getting there: exit at B145 near Pichl/Kainisch. Afterwards follow the signs to Ösensee Lake (approx. 3km).
