Grünau im Almtal – this hidden jewel off main traffic routes is an insiders’ tip in summer and winter alike. Nature with its many different shapes dominates like here. Already Konrad Lorenz and his greylag geese felt at home in this idyllic landscape. Greylag geese, raven, kingfisher and northern bald ibises have become flying landmarks of Grünau.
